When coming across such circumstances, it is crucial to advocate for oneself –our positions, to achieve personal goals, overcome difficulties, and be determined- but control aggressive impulses without harming the rights and interests of others.  This book addresses assertiveness from a human rights perspective, using a mixed methods approach.
