They are people who come from all over the world, who speak different languages, who have various cultures, and who practice different faiths. In fact, the Sistine Chapel is the fatal attraction; it is the object of desire for the international population of the Museums and for the migrants of the so-called cultural tourism. Nevertheless, the Sistine Chapel is not a museum although it is part of a museum tour. It is about a religious space; a consecrated Chapel. It is the real place of identity of the Roman Catholic Church, because right here the great liturgies are celebrated, and the Cardinals gather to elect the Pope. At the same time the Sistine is the synthesis of the Catholic theology. Tuttavia la Cappella Sistina, pur facendo parte di un percorso museale, non è un museo. È uno spazio religioso, è una cappella consacrata. Di più, essa è il vero e proprio luogo identitario della Chiesa romano-cattolica. Perché qui si celebrano le grandi liturgie, qui i cardinali riuniti in conclave eleggono il pontefice. La Sistina è, allo stesso tempo, la sintesi della teologia cattolica.
